JNTU Hyderabad (JNTUH) is conducting the Telangana State TS EAMCET Examination on behalf of TSCHE from the formation of the Telangana State. Every year JNTUH will conduct the Telangana EAMCET and release the Telangana EAMCET Results, in this only those students are eligible who will get Telangana State Inter Results Passed out. Approximately 1.5 Lakh students were appear for the examination for seek of admission in the Engineering, Bio Technology, Agriculture, Pharma D Courses.
The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance (TS EAMCET) 2017 is being conducted by JNT University Hyderabad (JNTUH) on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University / Private Colleges in the state of Telangana and Telangana SSC Board will look after the 10th Class examinations in Telangana State and minister will release the list of passed and failed candidates through TS 10th Class Results.

Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has delegated the task to JNTUH for conducting the most prestigious entrance examination of Telangana - Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) for this year 2017. This is the 22nd time and 19th consecutive time that JNTUH has been assigned this enormous task. It is indeed a proud fact that after the formation of the 29th state in India i.e., TELANGANA, TSCHE has instilled confidence and faith in JNTUH for the smooth conduct of this test. Hence, this is the 2nd consecutive time in the newly formed Telangana state, JNTUH is conducting this humongous task of TS EAMCET 2017. As a premier Technological University of the undivided A.P. State and the newly formed state of Telangana, in the past JNTUH has successfully executed EAMCET and stood high and strong through the ages of competition and technology for around 20 years ..

Be it, innovative examination pattern, introduction of technology into the evaluation process, announcing of results as per decided deadlines or facilitating the TS EAMCET - 2017 aspirants to write hassle-free test, there has been every attempt made by JNTUH and no efforts left each year in terms of raising the quality and level of the conduct of EAMCET examination. Since the inception of the online submission of the application form in 2012, the success, convenience and the remarkable response achieved in the past years from 2013 to 2016, gives us immense pleasure to continue the same even for the year 2017. This continuous pursuit to gradually make EAMCET examination a paper-free examination has been highly appreciated by all sections of people and JNTUH takes the pride of becoming a trend setter for other common Entrance Tests in the state of Telangana by introducing the online mode of Application form submission through Internet since a couple of years. In addition, a provision to modify certain fields by the candidates themselves is also incorporated in TS EAMCET - 2017. To give more transparency, in the year 2014, OMR Answer Sheets of all the candidates who have appeared for the entrance test were hosted in the website at the time of declaration of Ranks. The same was continued in the year 2015 as well, which received immense appreciation and testimonials from all sections of the people.
